Electric Dragons wield electricity with great prowess. Bright sparks race across these dragons’ bodies in a dazzling dance of light, complemented by the blindingly radiant sparks on their tails. Using their bellies and manes as stores for this electrical energy, Electric Dragons wield crackling magic, stunning and electrocuting their prey with a whip of their tail. During mating season it is typically those with the most brilliant sparks—an indicator of strength and hunting ability—that are drawn to each other.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Yrev means yellow in draconic, and her full name literally means 'Yellow Bolt'. She is constantly staring at her tail, fascinated by its electrical power. One day, Yrev looked a little too hard at her tail, and thought she saw a face. Scared, she whipped her tail away and managed to hit and electrify another electric dragon, which caused a chain reaction. The whole event caused the resident thunder dragon, Shochraos, to stop prancing about causing thunderstorms and stare at the huge yellow line that had formed across his mountain.
