Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Draconic history is full of tales of would-be dark lords and conquerors, and yet few stories mention what happened to these ambitious dragons once they were defeated. Some were killed, yes, but most were wily enough to fake their own deaths. Many of these have wound up in one particular weyr, otherwise unremarkable, where they gather each week to recall past glories and share the mistakes that led to their defeat.

For want of a few grates or filters, Dyzag's plans were ruined. He had been off to a good start terrorizing a nearby village, even managing to capture a few of the human heroes sent to defeat him, but forgot to take a human's smaller size into account. Ventilation shafts too small to admit a magi dragon were the perfect size to allow a human full access to Dyzag's lair, and they soon had Dyzag cornered. He managed to escape—barely—and has spent the last few years building blueprints for a completely impervious weyr, for the benefit of future generations if not himself.
