Geode Dragons are closely related to Stone dragons. They are covered in a hard stone-like material as well as beautiful crystal. Their wings are entirely useless for flight, but they help attract mates. The dragons with the most brilliant and colorful crystals are more likely to mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Dirge of Quartz and Melody, one of the Twelve Dreamers, has an odd obsession with death and clocks and all those things normal dragons would consider extremely morbid. She'll speak of time passing and the weak dying as if it's a normal thing to talk about, pay extra attention to every tick of the clock to make sure everything's running normally.

Her song, almost as if in response, is a sad song, almost a funeral song, with a steady beat. Exactly like a clock. The ticking of old music boxes that have to be wound up is present as well, creating an almost nostalgic feeling for something that wasn't cared about before.

Melody's dreamland is very different from the other Dreamers', being made out of floating islands with various quartz crystals protruding from the surfaces of each. Giant brass music boxes are scattered throughout the land and play discordant tunes, but she always says that she wakes up before she can finish hearing them.

She says that that's saying something.
