Anagallis Dragons are a medium-sized omnivorous breed. Widespread and adaptable, their easygoing nature enables them to flourish under most conditions. They are social creatures, fun-loving and outgoing, and will readily defend smaller dragons from others’ aggression. They are fond of sunshine, and can often be found basking on rocks; on cloudy or stormy days they are more reluctant to venture out, and will often hide themselves away until the weather is more favorable.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Blunnyrm is a rather confused dragon. She seems to believe she is either a bluna or some sort of wyrm—perhaps it is because she hatched far away from where most of her kind lives and was raised by other dragons. Of course, her foster parents were neither bluna nor wyrms, so that wouldn't explain much, either. Her subtropical grassland home has few places to hide when the weather turns foul, so she takes care that the secret shelters she's made remain unknown, even to wild animals. She has a friend, Thewra, who she is constantly gifting flowers and stones to. The other dragoness knows little about anagallis habits however, and doesn't understand the implications behind such offerings. There is a green nebula, Skinned, who displays his wings to Blunnyrm every spring and autumn when he stops by on his migrations, whose romantic overtures go unnoticed by her in turn. Fortunately, Thewra has no such feelings for Skinned, saving them from an unfortunate love triangle.
