Dragons are creatures with nearly unlimited life spans. They can survive for long periods of time, and no one has found a dragon that has died of old age. Adolescence is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Once they hit adolescence, hatchlings change quickly, maturing to their full forms in only 2 years.
Dragons don’t communicate with each other verbally, but they will growl to scare off predators and frighten prey. Young dragons will emit an extremely high-pitched squeal when they are frightened. To communicate, they use telepathy with each other and to speak to other creatures.
Geode dragons are closely related to Stone dragons. They are covered in a hard stone-like material as well as beautiful crystal. Their wings are entirely useless for flight, but they help attract mates. The dragons with the most brilliant and colorful crystals are more likely to mate.
Inbox is a strange Geode dragon. Even though these dragons are perfectly capable of moving, she prefers to move around slowly and gracefully. No one knows why she insists on doing so; she isn't constipated or showing off her beauty because of wanting attention. Needless to say, she enjoys being around others when they talk, so that she can receive messages and gossip so that if the chance ever presents itself, Inbox can pass it on to said dragon. Due to her shy nature, she tends to keep quiet even among friends and family. No one knows that this little geode dragon would spill her heart out to a friend who is willing to strike up a conversation.
