Albino Dragons are so named because their translucent, scale-less skin lacks all pigment. Instead, to help protect their bodies from the sun, they are coated in an oily secretion that blocks the sun’s harmful rays. The call of an albino dragon is similar to a barn owl--a shriek instead of a roar.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

The Albino Pirate, or Albino for short, is a young Albino dragon. Like his best friend, the Surprisingly Curvaceous Pirate, he is part of Steampunk Fixmore's pirate crew. Together, the three of them sail the ocean looking for treasure, but often finding nothing more than fish. He is very kind, childlike, innocent, and friendly, and a little shy. Abandoned as a hatchling, Steampunk and Curvaceous raised him as their own son, and taught him several things about being a pirate. Every year, he tries to help Steampunk win the Pirate of the Year award, given to the most "piratey" pirate in an annual ceremony. He loves Polly, Steampunk's pet Dodo bird, and says she's like "a feathery aunt... with a beak." He is pretty sensitive, and is terrified of spiders. He currently has no specified mate.
