Ochredrakes are a curious species with a wide array of mutations and interesting behaviors. Not as intelligent as normal dragons, they only breed with other drake species. While they may not be bright, ochredrakes are flamboyant and fun-loving with amazing, chirping voices to sing with, and tame readily in the presence of a gentle hand.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

Cheery and optimistic, she never likes to see any of her clan unhappy or troubled. She enjoys nipping at the elder's tails and dodging their annoyed flicks. The hatchlings of the clan take a huge liking to her, loving to hear her imaginative stories and ride on her back as she soars high above the clouds, making them feel as though they were in heaven. Despite her cheerful nature, she is an intelligent girl, knowing how to handle situations in a pinch and offer logical solutions to a problem. She is very affectionate, not liking to see any of her friends hurt. She is also one of the most loyal dragons to the alpha male and alpha female, prepared to defend the clan with her life if the situation calls for it. She longs to find a male of her kind, her being one of the few females who never matedobtained a mate. She may soon get her wish in the handsome newcomer, Golden Remnant.
