Perhaps among the most venerated of dragon breeds is the Zyumorph, a breed whose selfless heroism and strong moral compass are nearly unparalleled by other dragons. Zyumorphs have an innate urge to fend off wrongdoing, and as such, are often sought after in times of peril. Although they are independently quite capable fighters, it is said that their true might is not unlocked until all six Zyumorphs are brought together in times of great duress.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Caucus is very much a fan of involving everyone in every decision. He thinks the ideal way to rule a group of dragons would be if every dragon would assemble every time there was a decision to be made and then everyone discussing as long as it takes until everyone would agree on a decision.

Even in a chaotic and more or less democratic clan such as his this is viewed upon as a tad extreme. After all nothing would ever get done when every hunt, or fight training, or hatchling sitting would have to be interrupted for endless discussions. And some dragons would behave contrarily just for the sake of it. And some dragons would insist on voting on issues they have no information about. And the clan's lands are so big that some dragons would have to travel more than a day to reach any place where the meeting took place. And...
