And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Stereogram is often lost in her own thoughts and stares glassy-eyed at some point in space. Her magical nature sometimes causes other dragons who go near her to forget what they were doing. She delights in puzzles and colorful patterns. The smoothest wall of her cave is carefully lit with shards of mana and depicts some kind of intricate diagram drawn with charcoal, green ink, and iron-based paint. Stereogram proudly explains, "If you stare at it and relax your eyes, a picture will jump out". Curious visitors concentratedly gaze at the artwork and look exactly like Stereogram as their eyes lose focus. Some viewers see the diagram "correctly" and say that they see a flower, while others fail to see anything and frustratedly claim that the diagram is a joke.
