Olive Dragons are a small, forest-dwelling breed, rarely growing much larger than the average sheep. When alarmed, they can erect a long row of venomous spines on their back, serving to warn any potential predators that Olives are not a good choice for a meal. While not strong enough to kill anything larger than a small deer, their venom causes an extremely painful reaction and necrosis at the bite site, sometimes causing the flesh to rot and limbs to fall off.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Many tend to avoid Gahadoth, and this is just as well as he is generally not too fond of company. The only dragon he allows into his lair on a regular basis is his mate Rhareviel, though one could hardly call them mates, as Rhareviel spends most of her time far over the mountains beside her beloved Sithraldur. He pretends to hate her double life, snapping angrily at any dragon that mentions their relationship that he and Rhareviel are happy together. In truth, however, he is glad that she has found someone with a better temperament -- because he loves her. He loves the way she never bothers to clean her scales but still looks stunning when the sunlight hits her back; he loves her dark sense of humor that clashes oddly with her breed's reputation; he loves that she stands by him no matter what he says. And Gahadoth knows that while their friendship is deep, she can never love him. He isn't good enough for that. But he is happy knowing that she has someone who is.
