This is a baby chick, not a dragon. So what was it doing in the dragons’ cave?

This might have been a normal chicken, hatched in a regular farmyard, clucking away and scratching for seed and thinking normal chickeny thoughts.  But no, this chicken had to hatch in the dragon yard, immediately drafted into the military service of one paranoid fowl who believes she's from space and whose life is devoted to destroying pork, of all things.  Despite her youth, this wise little chick understands her lot in life, and so she plays along with her elder's dementia, adopting the role of Second In Command of the Space Chicken Army Against The Other White Meat.  Meh, it's a living.  And the seed is good.
