Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Thomas is a wild dragon with an extremely mercurial temperament. It's impossible to fully predict what will set her off and when. And when she goes off, she'll either react violently with vicious lightning storms, or coldly with frigid silence, ignoring the existence of whoever upset her.

Karl named her, and she liked the name, so she kept it.

She enjoys intellectual conversations, and as such can usually be found debating various matters with Beek, the only dragon who can  go toe to toe with Thomas in an intellectual debate and win. The other dragons learned to avoid debating with her.

She enjoys Karl's company, and seems to look up to him, in a way, and usually listens to him. She is rather affectionate with him, despite his being almost completely oblivious, and occasionally objecting, to this behavior. She doesn't pay too much mind to these rejections, however. She knows that Karl likes her, and she also knows that she's slowly but surely winning him over.
