Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

This dragon travels far (and fast) searching for adventures and items for his hoard. When possible, he takes what he is looking for, and uses his speeds to get away before anyone notices. If necessary, he uses his tail as a weapon or tool to escape. His mastery of the tail as whip, weapon and tool is legendary, and this has earned him his name, because of the similarity with the famous archaeologist Indiana Jones. To live up to his reputation, Indy the dragon now specializes in collecting ancient artifacts, ignoring the normal precious objects like gold and silver that other dragons collect for their hoard.
