Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Piper is a peaceful dragon. She loves to watch the stars and sit with her mate. Her mate, Bronze, being a day dragon, tends to stay up late and sleep in during the day. He stays up from about ten o'clock in the morning to ten o'clock in the evening to be with her. She loves him for this and will do anything to make him happy. Her favourite flower is the sunflower, and her favourite food is actually chicken.
