Grave Dragons are not named for their connections to death or burial, but for the grave expression on their faces. This strange expression is used as a defense mechanism that causes fits of panic and terror in potential predators. Since they only eat ash and charcoal, they do not hunt. Grave Dragons are powerful fire-breathers and have been known to burn down forests and villages alike to make meals. It is believed that the markings on each Grave Dragon’s wings are the faces of those who have lost their lives in fires started by that dragon.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

As one of the first Grave Dragons to ever appear- not only in the clan, but in the entire dragonic world- Souls gets quite a bit of attention from various sources, some more welcome than others. Not that he really enjoys the attention, of course, for he would much rather be left to his own devices. The reason for this is that Souls despises who he is as a whole. He hates that he has to burn down villages just to make a meal for himself, and tries to resist the urge to burn and kill just to feast. This only truly works for a while, until he begins to feel the after-effects of his fasting. If he goes for too long without feeding, he's been known to fly off into an almost animalistic rage, burning everything he can to ashes until his hunger is sated. Afterwards, he becomes dazed and confused, and staggers off to repeat the cycle all over again. Rage does not lend itself well to good aim, however, and he would have starved long ago if not for the clan dragons bringing him occasional meals.
