Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Black Ryu Arashi is as strong of a warrior as you can find. He has trained all his life to try to be the strongest, fastest, and most cunning of the black dragons. Black has been defeated in battle before, but only once to a red dragon. <br/>Black makes his home in the swamps near a deep mountain valley, sometimes courting the water dragon that lives in the deep lake nestled in the valley. He has had only one clutch of eggs so far, but hopes to have more so he can spread his strength to more dragons.<br/>Black is very territorial, if anything comes near his lair he will attack it with vigor. He will usually restrain from killing the intruder unless it is another dragon trying to steal his territory, then he won't hold back.
