Golden Wyverns are known for their beautiful metallic scales and rumored magical abilities. Living high in the mountains, these dragons do not believe in killing for sport or pleasure. They will hunt only when hungry and defend themselves when provoked, but will avoid killing to the best of their abilities. Golden Wyverns often mingle with other dragons of similar color and take pride in their shimmering hide.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Gold of the Lonely Mountain is a kind and regal dragon. He is noble and proud but not to a fault. He arrived at the cave as a hatchling, weak and near death. The kind dragons took him in and nursed him back to health. He told them stories of his home: a tall mountain standing alone, filled with the treasures of his family. The precious metals and sparkling gems caught the attention of other, greedier dragons, who flew in and claimed the treasure for themselves by force. Gold of the Lonely Mountain is the last dragon left of his kin. He does not care for the rare metals and precious stones amassed by his ancestors; what he wants is his home. One day, when he has gained sufficient strength through his friends and allies, he vows to return to his home and drive the intruders out for good.
