Pink Dragons are primarily herbivores and only eat meat during the mating season, when mates will exchange kills. When it is not breeding season, pink dragons spend most of their time incubating eggs and caring for their clan’s young. Due to their feminine color, it was traditionally thought that pink dragons were a strictly female breed, but this is not true.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Bubble Berry Glitterspark, or Bubble for short, is a young Pink Dragon. He is very friendly, happy, and bouncy, and is best friends with Icarus the Sunsong Amphiptere, considering how similar the two's personalities are. Like all Pink dragons in his clan, he represents an Element of Happiness, his being Optimism. He loves to pull pranks on Water Gazer with Icarus, and he and Icarus love planning parties together for the other dragons. He is friends with everyone in the clan except for Trixie the Hellfire Wyvern, who thinks he is extremely annoying and hates him, even though he is oblivious to this and thinks she is one of his best friends. He has no fear of humans at all, which worries his teachers, Sapphiro and Izar. He has what he calls "Bubble Sense", which means he can almost vaguely predict the future from signs such as "twitchy tail", "fluttering eyelashes", and "shaky knees", each one meaning something like "watch out for falling objects" and "avoid opening doors".
