Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Silver females eat meat only when a male dragon brings it to them as part of courtship, though they are typically highly-independent. They possess an almost magical aura that lights up any place they are in, and are looked upon with awe by humans and animals alike.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Narya, almost from the first days of her hatching, has been precious to the clan. None seem able to explain why. There seems to be a light about her greater than that carried by the other silver dragons of her clan, but she carries herself in a careless, insignificant way, as if she is completely unaware of the effect she has on others. Perhaps she is unaware of it. Regardless, her presence seems to relax those about her, and cheer them, and she seems to assume that this state of cheer is simply how the world is, whether she is in it or not.
