Crystalline Dragons are a northern breed with icy skin and a ferocious temperament. Their scales are highly reflective and translucent, giving their hides a characteristic “ice crystal” appearance. Large and solitary, they roam mountainsides, tundras, and frozen wastes searching for food and occasionally mates. They have expansive territories and don’t generally roam far outside. If two similarly sized Crystalline Dragons do encounter each other, a vicious and explosive fight is soon to ensue.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

This dragon's name is (Unknown). (Unknown) is an inhabitant of the region where the Charlie networks are mapped, and even though some dragons do not live in any of the four official networks, they are still counted by the census, which occurs every 15 years. When found, (Unknown) did say her name, but it was a tad long, and she spoke quickly. The census taker didn't catch most of it and didn't dare ask again because she said she would rip off his skin from horns to tail if he had any more stupid questions, and he was not being paid enough to risk his life any more than he already did.
