Mint colored dragons are the most peaceful of all dragons; they only eat plants unless they scavenge meat from an already dead animal. They also have no ways to attack others or defend themselves. They are much smaller than other forms of dragons since they only double in size when they mature. Mint dragons are unable to use magic and cannot fly since they lack wings. Their looks have given rise to the common insult of calling dragons “large lizards.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Nehane found a dragon with a collar that read Aimy stumbling outside with her eyes full of infection, and making crying noises. (Apparently searching for her mother). She picked her up took her home, and nursed her back to health. Nehane often had to defend her small dragon because she did not grow as fast as her other dragons. Later on, she found out that her dragon would not grow any larger. Nehane was sad and thought that it would be best to just kill her, and then she resented herself for even thinking such a thing. How could she get rid of this dragon that loved to cuddle up by her bed at night and sometimes sleep with her, ate the foods that Nehane would rather not eat, and help her take care of other dragons that she brought home Aimy was like a little dragon nurse, and will forever be with Nehane.
