White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Alfie is one of the many dragons rescued and nurtured by the wide ranging clan of humans founded by AnselaJonla. His egg was found in the jungle and taken to a hatchery to be raised.

Once he matured, he found his lifemate, a Daydream dragon, among the other AnselaJonla dragons. In the tradition of the AnselaJonla flock, both dragons took the same name, Chi, to pass down to any of their offspring that remained within the flock.

Alfie will happily leave the flock's territory if humans come to him asking for his help. The defence force wouldn't mind this, if he'd only tell them that he was leaving, so they could keep an eye on him.
