Stone Dragons have a tough outer covering made of a stone-like material. They eat rocks, using the minerals they contain for nourishment and to keep up their stone outer shell. They rarely move, and are the heaviest of all types of dragons. Although they have wings, indicating flight ability, no one has ever seen a stone dragon flying.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

During one dark night, the leader of a dragon clan snatched up a stone egg from outside the mysterious cave. With much care, the egg soon hatched into a lovely hatchling and that hatchling soon matured into a boisterous and brash lady of stone. Everyone was happy, save for the stone. She did not have a name. Many years passed and still no one could think up of a fitting title for her to bear. However, the stone had once mentioned to the leader how she admired the name of a frozen mint dragon, Quista. The leader, eager to please his favorite stone, banished the mint to the wilderness and freed up the name. Oddly enough, the outgoing Quista began to withdraw from the dragons around her soon after she was named. She flinched at loud noises and was always looking over her shoulder. She will never tell anyone, but every night, outside her cave, the wind seems to howl her name and two tiny little slivers of light (almost like eyes, she thinks) glare up at her at her from the dark.
