Nebula Dragons are nocturnal creatures. With the best eyesight to be found, they are often seen staring into space. Each dragon tends to observe a particular nebula and will eventually change their colors and patterns to match it. As the nebula changes over time, the dragon changes with it. The more intricate the design of the nebula, the better chance an individual has of attracting a mate. It is said that the markings on no two Nebula Dragons will be exactly the same.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

This nebula dragon, son of Taline and Dark as the Stars, is a lot more sociable than either. However, as he sleeps during the day, like your typical nebula dragon, he sometimes finds it difficult to find anyone to converse with. Aesculapius D'Hennegel, who is a bit of an insomniac, is probably his closest companion, and Glow greatly enjoys sitting by the cave entrance at night, pointing out different constellations and planets to his friend. Sometimes others who have trouble sleeping will join them. He has previously tried to get Sorrowful to sit with him, but she thinks little of the stars and of other dragons in general, and so Glow quickly gave that up.

When he is alone, Glow will often leave the cave and fly amongst the heavens, with nebulas from other caves. Shadow of Intent is one friend whom he has met by this practice. Taline worries about this interaction with strangers, but Glow assures her that he is careful, and wont get hurt. Still, she worries about him.
