Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Silver females eat meat only when a male dragon brings it to them as part of courtship, though they are typically highly-independent. They possess an almost magical aura that lights up any place they are in, and are looked upon with awe by humans and animals alike.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Polished Orb is a perfectionist. Everything she does must be perfect and shiny. She carries a feather around to dust all of her work off. She has a quill pen as well as some clay she stole from humans. Polished Orb sculpts and kilns them with fire she breathes. Her biggest project took her a whole year. She helped Seashell Guard build his cove during the first year. She helped him plan it and set the boundaries, as well as carry sand (which she wasn't good at, as she has no shovel-tail) but didn't make sure things were perfect there. Why, because beaches should be sandy and it was Seashell Guard's project. She helps guard it sometimes, but mostly builds things in her cave. Her prized possession is a shiny glass orb, which she spends 2 hours a day polishing. This is how she got her name. She is a very wise dragon and enjoys art very much. Polished Orb has stolen various paintings as well as her clay.
