Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Unluckily certainly lives up to his unfortunate name, but he never gives up. His bad luck began when he first hatched; he was born with mangled and crooked teeth. Unable to hunt with full efficiency, he honed his skills with his claws, and today, dragons fear his razor-sharp talons.

In addition to the problems with which he was born, every mate he has taken has proven to be unfaithful. He has had a total of seven mates, and all have left him for a more attractive or stronger male. Despite this, he refuses to give up on love.

Most of the black dragon warriors refuse to bring him on missions because every mission he has taken up has ended in complete failure. Because of this, Unluckily undertakes his own missions and performs to the best of his abilities. He hopes to someday have a team to fight alongside.
