Guardian Dragons have large shields on the end of their tails. Although the shields appear to be heavy, they are light, yet nearly unbreakable. Guardian Dragons use their tail-shields, as well as their wings, to deflect attacks and protect others. Often, they will guard the eggs and hatchlings of a nest while others are away. They are generally peaceful, and will not retaliate unless necessary. They have no need to forage or hunt, as they are fed by those they protect.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Although a Guardian Dragon, the only thing Medieval Armor guards is his own pride. He preens his scales for hours and holds the large structure on his tail high as if it were some sort of trophy. Others have tried to convince him to guard the crops, or even help one of the other guardian dragons guard the eggs, but he merely scoffs at the idea. He prefers to lie around preening himself. Soon after his birth, a traveling king from a faraway land set eyes on him. Since there are no dragons in his land he captured the dragon to bring home to intimidate his foes. While trapped in the kingdom he was treated even better then the king himself, getting served piles of the choicest cuts of meat and having his scales shined for him. After the king died though, the kingdom fell to an invading army and Medieval Armor was soon stripped of his royal treatment. With only one place left to go, he returned to the cave, but he never got over the pride he developed during his days of royal treatment.
