Frilled Dragons are smaller than most other breeds, but when threatened, they stretch out their wings and frills to appear larger. They generally do not like to fight and prefer hiding to confrontation. Frilled dragons live in small groups and often band together to scare off potential threats. Males also use their frills as a way to attract mates, with those displaying the “best” frills being more likely to breed.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Verde Grazia(whose name in Italian means "Green Grace")is the twentieth dragon of the Natashina clan. She got her name because of the stealthy way she moves, planning each step carefully.  She is a rather protective dragon and spends the day outside of the cave.  She normally guards near the Vine dragons and uses her frill as a warning to any would be intruders. She dislikes combat, but remains constantly vigilant against any danger. Grazia is somewhat mischievous and at times a little bit a prankster with her jokes, especially towards strangers. Her sense of humor sometimes alienates the other dragons, particularly Magus(who feels the pranks are a distraction) and Windlash(who doesn't like being outdone.) When she believes no one is watching, she likes watching fireflies flicker in the fields near the cave. Ostras alone knows this secret, and likes to tease the younger dragon about it.  Grazia teaches the hatchlings the skills of team strategy and intimidation.
