Striped Dragons come in a dazzling array of colors complemented by an intricate pattern of stripes. These bright colors and patterns help attract their favorite food, insects. Because their prey is so tiny, striped dragons must spend a large portion of their day eating. The color of the offspring is usually determined by the dragon’s mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

This dragon, Handsome Jacob, is respected and loved for his kindness toward all creatures. Even after he consumes his fill of insects, he thanks their spirit for giving him nourishment. He has jointed a team of fliers where they compete on courses to see which dragon is the fastest. During team practices, his only flaw is that he tends to give up easily and fails to use his true potential. He never finishes a workout due to the excuse that his right wing is injured. Because of his slight laziness during practice, he has never reached his full speed at competition even though he could potentially be one of the fastest fliers on the entire team.

Handsome Jacob also happens to be one of the most eligible male in EG's Cave. He is the most handsome Stripe in all of EG's Cave.
