Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

In his youth Geldorf was a kind of rebel, writing songs and lyrics to criticise the world around him, rejecting an invitation to join the highly regarded MAA, and making life difficult for the people around him. Now in his middle age, he has mellowed down a bit. He has settled with his mate and now tries to change the world for the better instead of just pointing out the things that were wrong. Unfortunately this means he has little to no time for his music anymore. But the art's loss might as well be the rest of the world's gain as he constantly tries to help the less fortunate and acts as their emissary.
