Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Negrila is a huge disappointment for her family and her breed. She seldom eats meat and she hates food that was prepared in any kind involving boiling oils or fats. Instead, she prefers to eat salads and steamed vegetables.

Given the fact that she comes from a carnivorous breed, this has resulted in Negrila being severely undernourished and weak. She is no big help for the clan when it comes to defending it against attackers and is pretty much useless for most tasks. But despite all evidence to the contrary and the urgent pleads of the healers, Negrila insists on her diet being the healthiest one possible through the remainder of her teeth.
