Nebula Dragons are nocturnal creatures. With the best eyesight to be found, they are often seen staring into space. Each dragon tends to observe a particular nebula and will eventually change their colors and patterns to match it. As the nebula changes over time, the dragon changes with it. The more intricate the design of the nebula, the better chance an individual has of attracting a mate. It is said that the markings on no two Nebula Dragons will be exactly the same.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Phobs summerdew's eyesight is extraordinary as he can see clear through the thickest fogs, mists, darkness, underwater, clouds, mud, and smokescreens. Some dragons suspect him being able to see through solid objects, as well as having telescopic sight. He can also see through most barriers. And when Phobs focuses his eyesight he can at least see as far as 50 km. But when he does that however he temporarily loses his shortsighted view, making him an easy target up close for enemies. Phobs has a near 360 field of vision, except for one blind spot at the back of his neck. Because of the Nebula dragons' eyesight, Nebula dragons in the clan are mostly made to be either surveillance or scout dragons. Phobs himself is a surveillance dragon, soaring through the sky looking for everything that could pose as a threat for his clan. He immediately would then warn the thunder dragons of the clan to deal with it. Phobs himself is poised, hopeful, focused, loyal, opportunistic, honorable and alert.
