Mint colored dragons are the most peaceful of all dragons; they only eat plants unless they scavenge meat from an already dead animal. They also have no ways to attack others or defend themselves. They are much smaller than other forms of dragons since they only double in size when they mature. Mint dragons are unable to use magic and cannot fly since they lack wings. Their looks have given rise to the common insult of calling dragons “large lizards.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Leonty is a typical mint, eating vegetation for food and seeking protection from more powerful dragons. He sleeps a lot, like a well-fed cat in a windowsill. Since he cannot provide for himself through hunting, he has to eat fruit, insects, and root vegetables. In winter, he is sometimes forced to scrape the soft inner bark off of trees for victuals.

This mint inhabits a network of caves that are commonly used for eggs. Although he can do little to fend off predators, he can warn the other dragons through telepathy if their eggs are being consumed. Since he is so prone to starvation, Leonty keeps a store of imperishable food in each cave, which he replenishes when plants begin to ripen for harvest. If he is ever stranded in a blizzard, he makes his way to one of the caves and tries to ride it out. Whenever he finds carrion, he drapes it over a tree branch so it will dry out and other carnivores will be unable to reach it.
