Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It’s very festively colored.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

This dragon, Jovi Yule, has a rather sweet singing voice, though she would never sing in public. Many Christmas dragons have become extremely impatient with her because one of their mottos is, "The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear!" Her best friend, Time for Elf, constantly tries to trick her into singing and catch her singing alone. Some even have begun to doubt that her singing voice is even as extraordinary as has been claimed. Time for Elf insists, however, that he has personally caught her singing.

Jovi Yule is well aware that she has a rare singing talent, but her social anxiety has certainly gotten the better of her. She hopes that one day she can spread Christmas cheer through her songs.
