Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Ever since it hatched, the sky has been full of very dark clouds.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Over the centuries, the storms that sweep his world are becoming more and more violent. Many are beginning to fear that the end of their world is coming due to the fierce nature of these massive tempests. To stabilize the weather and prevent disaster, several Storm Dragons formed what is known as the Great Weather Manipulation Project (GWMP). As a hatchling, Baban does not go to control the weather. Instead, his job is to assist GWMP with any one of the thousand tasks that need to be handled when GWMP goes to a new Cave to assist. He will run errands, help White dragons with healing, make sure dragons are fed and cared for, and carry messages for the active members of the Project. Baban takes his role very seriously and is proud of the way he assists the members of GWMP.
