Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It’s kind of shaky on its feet and enjoys playing in puddles.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

This hatchling likes the attention. It is prancing around, to and fro, showing off the shiny blue skin, the neatly trimmed paws, the softly gleaming tail, oh how handsome this hatchling is. Ever so youthful, exuding cheerful joy and feigning disinterest which is not intended to fool anybody, the A t t e n t i o n H o r s e knows how to raise the interest of its fellow dragons—against their will, if necessary. A quick bite when nobody is looking always does the trick.
