Dragons are creatures with nearly unlimited life spans. They can survive for long periods of time, and no one has found a dragon that has died of old age. Adolescence is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Once they hit adolescence, hatchlings change quickly, maturing to their full forms in only 2 years.
Dragons don’t communicate with each other verbally, but they will growl to scare off predators and frighten prey. Young dragons will emit an extremely high-pitched squeal when they are frightened. To communicate, they use telepathy with each other and to speak to other creatures.
White dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.
Ice Mist is an idealist who wants to see everyone get along. She constantly tries to "heal" Aberthol of her insanity but her powers do not work on mental issues. She hopes that maybe if she does this, Ne'igalomeatiga will stop trying to kill her keeper. From what she has seen her keeper has been caring of all the dragons (except Aberthol) and is confused why her keeper even had such an evil plot. She has turned a blind eye though to the fact her keeper had tried to kill a previous dragon in an unsuccessful effort to get an undead dragon and the fact that her keeper has only stopped since the spell no longer works. The other dragons view her as a bit naive (though many also want to like their keeper despite her previous deeds). Ice Mist points out that her keeper now treats Aberthol well now that the undead spell stopped working.
