Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It’s kind of shaky on its feet and enjoys playing in puddles.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

McGee loves silly pants and is constantly finding and acquiring new ones made out of the oddest of materials and patterns. His favorites are the truly wild ones like pink plaid with purple polka-dots or anything equally as entertaining. He is very thankful that he was frozen when he was young so that his size is not very large. Had he not been, it would have been much more difficult to find the pants that he adores so much in a size large enough for him to wear. He is one of the only dragons in the cave that wears any sort of clothing at all and is greatly indulged. His friends love bringing him strange and wonderful new pants and his eyes light up with gratitude when someone gives him something unique.
