Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Almost always found covered in mud, Cwichelm enjoys nothing more than digging tunnels and mining caverns. To any dragon but a Green, it's an exercise in futility, but Cwichelm has learnt a lot from what seems a simple activity -- not just facts like what different soil types feel like or the taste of different rocks, but also personal qualities. It took her one encounter with granite for her to learn the true benefits of perseverance... and pain-killing medicine.
