Dragons are creatures with nearly unlimited life spans. They can survive for long periods of time, and no one has found a dragon that has died of old age. Adolescence is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Once they hit adolescence, hatchlings change quickly, maturing to their full forms in only 2 years.
Dragons don’t communicate with each other verbally, but they will growl to scare off predators and frighten prey. Young dragons will emit an extremely high-pitched squeal when they are frightened. To communicate, they use telepathy with each other and to speak to other creatures.
Valentine eggs are only seen once a year. Adults’ mating seasons are very short, usually spanning the middle of the month of February. These dragons were once reputed to be omens of good luck in love.
Pinkadema Pie enjoys parties and sweets and more than anything she loves to make her friends smile.
Growing up around daydream dragons Pinkadema was more often than not caught in her own little world and even as an adult she has a hard time remembering what is real and what are her own made-up fantasies. As a descendant of daydreams a little bit of their magic seems to have rubbed off on Pinkadema and dragons around her can sometimes catch glimpses of the way she sees the world resulting in sightings of mirror-Pinkadema or toothless alligators. But still her actions only make sense to herself leading other dragons to shout out 'Oh Pinkadema you're so random' quite frequently.
