Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. There is a legend that comes along with this dragon. The legend of the bronze dragon. The dragon was once a mere toy but his owner longed for a real dragon, for a companion, for a friend. One night when he wished upon a star that glowed brighter than any he'd ever seen before he got his wish. From behind him he heard a soft rustle and the soft clipping of nails on wood. When he turned around he saw a small Shining Bronze dragon. Suddenly the boy became frightened! Surely this beast would kill him! When suddenly he felt as if there where a presence within his own mind and the dragon spoke to him with a calming assurance that he was his ally and friend. And that is how the legend of the bronze dragon came to be.
