Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Moonlit Starfire is Stargazing Starfire's latest mate. They have so far produced few children. She stays up at night, like a Nocturne, and like her mate. She is quite fierce when protecting the clan's eggs and hatchlings; she doesn't want them stolen or eaten by predators, such as other dragons, who might view an immobile egg or a helpless hatchling as an easy dinner. She tends to avoid fights and likes to sit out at night by herself. She sometimes runs errands during the day but does most of her work at night, when most of the clan usually sleeps.
