Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
Albino Dragons are so named because their translucent, scale-less skin lacks all pigment. Instead, to help protect their bodies from the sun, they are coated in an oily secretion that blocks the sun’s harmful rays. The call of an albino dragon is similar to a barn owl--a shriek instead of a roar.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
Ivory Porcelain, who prefers Ivy, was neglected as an egg because her father was suspicious that she'd be male and grow up to take over his territory. So, in a blind fit of jealousy, he threw her off the edge of the cliff. Of course, her mother was enraged, but was not able to find her. Thankfully, Ivy's egg had miraculously landed into the outstretched arms of Glitter Soul, a tender Silver Dragon. Ivy hatched and grew up among her Silver Dragon brethren and later became romantically attached to Glitter Soul's son, Shards of My Soul. He had been promised to a different dragoness, and so Ivy found herself having to prove herself through physical battle with the opposing female. Of course, being under trained, Ivy lost, but Shards of My Soul was compassionate enough to mate with her once. She has since been trying to redirect her affections, but so far, no other male has taken her fancy.
