Sophrosyne Dragons are a rare sight, typically making themselves known only to protect and heal the vulnerable. A visit from one serves as a reminder that kindness prevails, and that there’s always hope for positive change. While it is known that they possess the power to reverse botched spells, some claim they can even cure methodically-cast curses. This has never been formally documented, but these dragons have been seen arriving in the aftermath of violence, and the scars of tragedy seem to heal faster in their wake. The feathers of a Sophrosyne have thus become a symbol of perseverance and light in the face of darkness.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Aquenee is a calm, relaxed young dragon. She spends her time taking in the greatness of life, watching and studying the world around her. Wondering about absolutely everything, she isn't afraid to try new things if it means gaining knowledge. Many dragons don't appear to notice her or take an interest in her, but she doesn't mind; she takes an interest in them, though. She loves to delve into what others might be thinking, and learn about the minds of dragons and how they think, how they act and why they may act that way. She often finds herself alone, but she passes the time by imagining her own stories and tales. Aquenee uses the knowledge found from observing other dragons to create fairytale characters in her mind, experimenting with realistically portraying new and various personalities, even ones she really is not fond of. She somewhat wants to join Fantomasy, a group of role playing dragons, in order to get a better feel for her skill, but she believes she wouldn't fit in well.
