Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Sea Aero is a mature dragon, proud of being the first Christmas adult in the clan. He tries his best to help the old hatchlings and young adults to adapt to the life in the always growing group, looking after them until they've found their place amongst the other dragons. On December, however, he disappears for long periods of time every day, without telling anyone where he's going or what he's doing. Many dragons have tried following him, but they always lose him in the forest. When asked about the matter, Aero always replies it's his own business and says no more. Some dragons suspect it has something to do with his 'spread the holiday's spirit' talk, but no one knows for sure.
