Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Long ago, when the Periodic Clan was just being formed, it was a chaotic time indeed. The dragons settled along the Stability River haphazardly and constantly got into petty quarrels, often due to personal gripes with each other but mostly over territories and supplies. It was none other than Dmitri Mendeleev who put an end to that. Coming across the Clan on his travels and allowed to stay, he quickly saw the cause of the disorder and took charge. With an ingenious system, he mapped the territory and definitively assigned a certain part to each member, placing kindred dragons close together and even leaving space for potential newcomers. In a sense, he was the first to unite the Periodic Clan, giving the dragons the idea to focus on finding similarities instead of fighting. Even having left the Clan to its own affairs centuries ago, Mendeleev and his contribution to its wellbeing has never been forgotten, and he remains one of the most influential personalities to ever have crossed it.
