Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Despite being as black as outer space, it has a few bright patterns on it.

And look! It has grown wings and its scales have gained beautiful patterns. It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

The brilliant constellations on this hatchling foretold of the founding of EG's Cave, the massive chunk of land overseen by the cave master EG and put together as a peaceful home for other dragons under her loving care. The second she was gifted this hatchling by a mysterious stranger, she, with her immense knowledge of astrology, decided to seek out this land immediately. After locating it, she named it "The Cave", and it consists of the immense Arakiahoga and Autumn Forests, Bazara Village, EG's Estate, looming Mount Hagsip, the vast Cumberland Lake, and many other mysterious and fascinating destinations with deep enigmas and secrets within. It's the perfect paradise for this hatchling and the others.

This quirky little unnamed hatchling followed EG to the paradise, flying from location to location to welcome new dragons to the land and explaining the ropes and the places that they may visit and reside. He has become a close assistant to EG and resides mostly in the Master's Estate.
