Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

There's a horrendous rip in Mel's right wing, making it impossible for her to fly or forget.

Mel's known for being headstrong and determined. In fact, she has come to be the leader in the fight versus Izdati and his Creorluna. And it's no wonder after how much she suffered at their hands.

It was back in her youth; she was much softer then and Creorluna captured her.

For eight years, they tore her down to nothing. She cherished unconsciousness. They were the ones who crippled her ability to fly.

Then they threw HIM into the equation, hoping he could break her. Ace. Despite his cold exterior, Mel managed to break through that wall of numbness and ice. They fell for each other.

And then Creorluna took him from her. Him, then her sister Lanla, then her sons whom suffered fates almost worse than death.

She still sees Ace from time to time, but has cut off contact from him herself. She doesn't want to care anymore. Destroying the clan who destroyed her world is far more important.
