Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Silver females eat meat only when a male dragon brings it to them as part of courtship, though they are typically highly-independent. They possess an almost magical aura that lights up any place they are in, and are looked upon with awe by humans and animals alike.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Terrapin Station is a legend in Ahavah. She's been seen very few times, but those who have met her always come away changed. Terrapin lives high atop Cold Mountain, an enormous mountain jutting from the center of the infamous Silver Sea. Though few humans ever make it so far, she does entertain dragon company every now and then—usually water or sky dragons who have the stamina and fortitude to find her. Some rise, some fall, some climb to get to Terrapin.

Those who have seen her say that Terrapin, among all silver dragons, rises first and shines the best. She's a rather elusive caveborn silver, and anyone who enters her bright, shining aura always comes away with a magical gift of some kind. Many have perished trying to reach Terrapin Station, but there are ships of fools who attempt the crossing with every generation.
