Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Its eyes glow brightly at night, and it enjoys attacking insects and small animals.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Malicious Moonsault is a spirited youngster who sometimes ignores her guardians' orders if she simply doesn't feel like following them. She is determined to be great in some way when she's grown. She'll be the best fighter. She'll have a well-toned physique and learn to breathe fire. Oh, and she'll be the cool, calculating type like those characters in the stories the adults tell. Those are the best. For now, though, she is content scuffling with other children in the caves and exhaling in front of the fire pit, pretending to breathe fire for real.
